In Nursery, children are provided with opportunities to explore and learn through play. Click here to visit our EYFS Curriculum page here.
As the children spend time learning and playing both indoors and outdoors throughout the year, it is important that they have suitable clothing for our changeable weather. We recommend comfortable clothes that are easy for your child to manage independently, along with Velcro shoes to encourage them to develop their independence.
We also recommend providing your child with a book bag to keep the wonderful things they make and do at school. Their book bag will also be used for their library book, which they will be able to choose each Friday once they have settled into nursery.
Nursery Session Times (15-hour offer)
Morning session – EYFS School gate will be open by 8:40 am and children in Nursery go straight into their class. Staff welcome children via the EYFS door, accessed by the EYFS gate and pathway. Children are dismissed at 11.45am at the same Nursery class door. Children attending lunch club are collected at 1pm.
Extended care (30 hours) is led by Friends Together. Click here for further information here.
